Carl_gpgames has helpfully compiled a fresh Grand Prix 4 install package along with vital tools to get you up and running. This includes GPxPatch by SDI and Zaz Tools (including Car Set Manager - CSM) by Zaz.

Megapack-F1
The F1 MEGAPACK is a CSM MOD that encompasses all Formula 1 seasons from 1998 to the present. With it, you can compete in any season from 1998 onwards, with its specific race performances, independent physics, a grid with driver changes, and maximum realism and similarity to the actual Grand Prix race. Furthermore, it's a MOD that includes the circuits integrated, so there's no need to look for a separate Track Pack.

I've tried to compile a list and host mirror links of existing and classic mods from GP4's past and present. With many sources now gone, I hope this will help you find and download some collections of GP4's rich history.
Credits belong to all the authors mentioned as far as I can find them, without whom, GP4 would be in a far poorer position.
Most of these mods require Zaz's CSM, and there are some older mods where I have made a slight tweak to get them to work with the latest version of CSM.

ReplyDeleteIt's been many years since I last installed GP4 and today decided to install it again.
The game runs fine, but I am facing an issue with ZaZ tools.
When I am trying to install it, I get the following message:
The drive or UNC share you selected does not exist or is not accessible. Please select another.
I am wondering what to do in this case.

To be honest, I've never seen this problem before. Having said that, I've always installed it on the C drive.
Maybe asking on the forum might help.
Figured it out on my own. An existing installation of Zaz tools in a diferent drive was the culprit.
