GP4: Lance Stroll & Seb Vettel's Austrian GP Helmets

Both Aston Martin drivers ran special helmets for the Austrian GP, and both have been updated.

Lance Stroll has gone purple this weekend in conjunction with one of his sponsors, Sentinel One. They're a cyber security firm, who are now a public company trading on the New York Stock Exchange. I love a great quote, "erm... it's got some numbers on the back" says Stroll on his video on Twitter, thought provoking.

I had to create the matrix style binary code by hand, and use masks to fade it into the purple, of which there are two shades. The code is in a glitter colour, which helps the logos stand out at the rear. I've revised the positioning of the logos at the rear of the helmet, as well as play the Oakley logo on the visor and reinstating the Bahrain GP version of the visor strip - this will only look right on the Stilo helmet though. So all in all, there's not much that remains of the original helmet bar the wings, almost every other element has been tweaked in some way.

Seb Vettel also has another variation on his helmet design, the brainchild of Jens Munser Designs which incorporates "black fading to pearl white" background and "NEON PINKSmiling face with sunglasses" for the flag and world. The rubber strip on the bottom is also neon pink, I personally like it and how it stands out in the car, I can forgive it jarring a bit with the traditional green Aston. Vettel's been doing a lot of promo on sustainability and bees and bee hotels apparently, so he's now got a bee with a number 5 on the top of his lid.

I see Jsoria has released his version, which looks great, but my alpha channel is designed specifically for GP4, plus Jvinu's helmet shape has been amended for AC, so all I'm trying to say is that my version fits GP4 better.
