This track was originally created by Viking75, who has been sharing a number of his tracks with the GP4 community. It has been good to follow his progress with each new release, and this is another enjoyable addition.
The circuit is based on the Formula E Paris ePrix street circuit, which was used from 2016 to 2019. Viking75 originally created the track last year and released it here: https://www.grandprixgames.org/read.php?4,1178239,1178239#msg-1178239
Blast through the streets of Paris around the historic Les Invalides. This short and technical 14-corner circuit winds its way around one of the city’s best-known landmarks, passing the Musée de l’Armée and Napoleon’s tomb.
My update is fairly modest. I have revised the CC-line to give the AI, and keyboard users, a more natural racing line and to improve their lap times. I have also updated the external TV cameras to give the circuit a better presentation during replays and races.
The track itself is admittedly somewhat oversized compared with the real circuit, but I actually found that this makes it particularly enjoyable to drive with F1 cars. It produces some good racing and is a lot of fun to throw a GP4 car around the streets of Paris.
