2023 Helmet Pack v1.04
There's a new driver on the grid for the Hungarian GP, yes, the honey badger himself returns in an Alpha Tauri. Included are both his Red Bull helmet he used for tyre testing and his new Alpha Tauri helmet too. It's always a risk to create and release a helmet before there's a full set of photos available, but hopefully you'll appreciate being able to have the helmet to play with before the race weekend.
As usual, there's more new helmets! There's been quite a few special liveries from the Canadian and British Grand Prix. There's quite a variety of them and I've managed to recreate them all. The Canadian GP helmets include Leclercs' Gilles Villeneuve helmet that he nearly couldn't race because he hadn't checked the family, to Botta's lumberjack scene, Stroll's Montreal map with QR codes linking to his favourite childhood spots, and Perez's film promo.
At the British GP, Zhou ran an assymetric design with his karting helmet and colours on the right and his current design on the left with matching colours, to Lando's chrome helmet, Gasly and Bottas both running the Union flag, Hamilton adding Mission 44 to the top of his lid, both Aston Martin drivers running 110 years of Aston Martin race cars, Albon's black and white number and Ocon's tribute to his colleagues at Alpine. I've tried to be as accurate with the names as I could be on that helmet, but as usual with these tribute helmets, try and spot some of the Easter eggs I've put in.

Helmet & Pitcrew Templates
New to the Helmet & Pitcrew downloads page are a selection of templates for you to quickly get started with painting your own skins. There have been some fantastic helmet shapes created over the years and I'm glad to preserve some of them for you on this site. Adam (DaiMOn Designs) has continued his helmet creations outside of GP4, and ACSPRH v2 helmets available for Assetto Corsa are his work. He's done collabs with Stroll's helmet designer, Mark Antwar too. Anyway, some of his early work for GP4 is available for you to paint your designs on. If I can contact him, perhaps we'll get his helmet shapes into GP4 next season, we'll see. You'll also find Jvinu's shapes which I've been painting on for years and is the foundation for ACSPRH v1 helmets that have enabled my helmets to be easily converted to rF2 and Assetto Corsa. Eugenio Faria did a lot of great work in the early days, pushing the boundaries of quality with each release, it was a shame he left the GP4 editing scene when he did. And Öggo's helmets from the 1990's are also included, again versions of these are widely used in the Assetto Corsa modding scene.
32bobo32's excellent HD template for pitcrew and engineers has also been added.
Blog update
The blog has had a slight refresh in it's look, it's still carries the same familiar feel, but tweaked and refined to make it easier to navigate.
Anyway, there's plenty more things in the fongu workshop right now, stay tuned to see some exciting new content for GP4 coming later this year.
